My unbelievable day with some of the wonderful students from Warren Eastern High School. I taught them everything they needed to know about becoming a nurse practitioner. Can’t wait until our Shadow Days! They get to shadow me while I make Housecalls.
Words will never be able to describe the hurt and pain we all felt when we heard of the tragedy at Sandy Hook. All we can do is pray for them and continue to pray again that the parents who lost little angels find comfort now and in the days to come, as we enter the holiday season. Heavy hearts here in NOLA.
The Nurse Practitioner is here to stay
As we near the celebration of the nurse practitioner, I am honored to be a part of this diverse and multi-talented profession of leaders, innovators, and thinkers. I long for the day when nurse practitioners will be able to practice to the fullest extent in every state. After all, aren’t people still people in other states? The following link gives a great overview of who we are.
